headacheMD Houston is the Headache Medicine practice of Pamela Blake, MD, a board-certified neurologist and headache medicine specialist. As Dr. Blake’s practice expands beyond the River Oaks section of Houston, and she takes on a more national role in educating other physicians in the diagnosis and management of chronic headache due to nerve compression, Dr. Blake has renamed her practice to headacheMD, Houston.

While the name has changed, the high quality of Dr. Blake’s practice remains unchanged – the detailed history and physical examination, the careful decision-making regarding the etiology of headache and neck pain, and the thorough discussion of diagnosis and recommended treatments. We pride ourselves on providing the best care and pursuing close collaborations with other medical professionals as needed to do so, whether these professionals are surgeons for patients who need nerve decompression surgery, or psychologists for patients who may benefit from the management of emotional factors that may be important in the experience of chronic pain. We are all a team, working together, to improve the quality of patients’ lives and alleviate suffering.
